On or about 6th June 2025, marine contractors working on behalf of Watermans Riverside Limited will recommence construction works for the new Watermen’s Park Marina, inshore of the Brentford Aits. The works are expected to take approximately 6-weeks to complete, and the usual operational hours will be 0830 to 1700 Monday to Saturday.
There will be various marine operations taking place on site, including piling, towage and men working on the waterline with the vessels JOHN WHITE, SPEEDWELL and RACHEL in attendance. The chartlet below indicates the approximate footprint of the marine works:
Any requirements to proceed with caution or at slow speed, will be made in accordance with the procedures set out in the Port of London Authority’s Port Information Guide, under ‘London VTS’, ‘Section 4’ with the International Code Flags ‘Romeo Yankee’ displayed, which are illustrated below.

The display of these signals will be in addition to any lights or shapes required under local regulations and the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea.
Further details will be broadcast by London VTS on VHF Channel 14.
All vessels on station will be maintaining a listening watch on VHF Channel 14.
