On or about 14th July 2025 contractors working on behalf of network rail will commence diving investigation and survey works at Cannon Street Rail Bridge. Diving operations will take place within the bridge arches and during the diving operations the arches will be closed to navigation. These works are expected to take place overnight and last up to 5 nights.
To accommodate these works, the arches of Cannon Street Rail Bridge will be closed to navigation as follows:

The Dive Boat should display International Code Flags ‘Alpha (A)’ as appropriate

Mariners transiting Cannon Street Rail Bridge are requested to pass with extreme caution. Mariners must ensure that wash and draw off are kept to a minimum when passing the site.
A Safety Boat will be in attendance throughout these operations and will be maintaining a listening watch on VHF Channel 14.
