On Tuesday 8th July 2025, contractors working on behalf of the City of London will commence abseiling operations to repair lighting on Tower Bridge. These works will take place overnight and are expected to take 5 nights.
In order to accommodate these works arch restrictions will occur as per the table below:

Arches closed to navigation will be marked in accordance with the Port of London Authority Thames Byelaws 2012 namely:
Further high level works will take place on the high walkways of Arch No. 2, however these will be high level and will not affect navigation.
Safety vessel PRONTO, will be in attendance throughout and maintaining a listening watch on VHF Channel 14.
