Mariners are advised that commencing on 2nd June 2025, and for a period of five days, diving operations will be taking place at the London Cable Car support and impact protection in Bugsby’s Reach. 

The exact location of works is depicted by a red box in the below chartlet:

Diving is scheduled to take place in the early hours of the morning only for approximately 2 and ½ hours each time, around the first low water periods of each day.  

Workboat ‘ASSASSIN’ will be involved in the diving operations and will display the below signals when diving is taking place: 

By day, International Code Flags ‘Romeo Yankee (RY)’, ‘Alpha (A)’ and a red flag near the diver’s point of entry into the water  

By night, illuminated rigid replicas of the International Code Flags ‘Romeo Yankee (RY)’ and ‘Alpha (A)’.

Requirements to proceed with caution or at slow speed will be made in accordance with the procedure set out in the Port of London Authority’s Port Information Guide, under ‘Speed Reductions’.
