For the purposes of this Notice, “relevant vessels” means:

For avoidance of doubt, this includes all Class V vessels and all private passenger charters.
Pre-registration will be undertaken by the Metropolitan Police Service through the Marine Policing Unit and accepted applications will be issued with a NYE2024 licence (for which there will be no charge).
All relevant vessels operating in the Enforcement Area, which is between Tower Bridge and Chelsea Bridge from 2100 on 31st December 2024 to 0130 on the 1st January 2025 must hold a NYE2024 licence. NYE2024 licences must be displayed onboard the vessel for the duration specified above and be available for inspection by the Metropolitan Police.
Any relevant vessel not displaying, or unable to produce, a NYE2024 licence for inspection will not be permitted to proceed into, or remain within, the Enforcement Area. The cut-off date for applicants to register for a licence is Friday 20th December 2024.
