There are currently two traditional rowing events scheduled to take place between the Upper Pool and Teddington from May to June 2025 and will require local traffic control:

Vessels involved in these events will navigate on the starboard side of the fairway and will be accompanied by safety and support vessels.
Masters of vessels navigating throughout these events should be aware of the limited maneuverability of those participating and should navigate with caution being mindful of their wash.
Local Traffic Control will be undertaken from a PLA Harbour Service Launch displaying blue flashing lights. The Harbour Service Launch will maintain a listening watch on VHF Ch 14. All power-driven vessels intending to navigate past the event are to call ‘Thames Patrol’ on VHF Channel 14.
