Mariners are advised that on or around Thursday 15th May 2025 contractors working for the Tideway Tunnel Project will commence carrying out repair works to the coping stones on the river wall at the Albert Embankment site. These works are estimated to take one week.
The area of works extends outside of the defined Tideway site, towards St Georges Wharf Pier. The chartlet below shows the works area in red.
Works will involve accessing the foreshore, the installation of scaffolding on the foreshore and works overhanging the river. Vessels are requested to be mindful of the nature of the works and of their wash when passing the works.
Further details will be broadcast by London VTS on VHF Channel 14.
