This Notice supersedes and replaces M64-25, which is hereby cancelled.
Mariners are advised that on or about Monday 19th May 2025 contractors for the Royal Docks will commence repair works on the outer lock gate of the King George V Lock. These works are expected to last approximately 6 weeks.
To facilitate these works the outer lock gate will remain open, and regular diving operations will take place.
Requirements to proceed with caution or at slow speed will be made in accordance with the procedure set out in the Port of London Authority’s Port Information Guide, under ‘Speed Reductions.’
The operations should display International Code Flags ‘Romeo Yankee (RY)’ and ‘Alpha (A)’ as appropriate:
