Nine Elms Reach - Vauxhall Bridge Lights Unserviceable

This Notice supersedes and replaces M14-25, which is hereby cancelled.

Mariners are advised that due to power disruption the lights on Vauxhall Bridge are unreliable, meaning some and/or all navigation lights, including SMART signals, may be extinguished. In addition to this the Vauxhall Bridge isophase lights remain unserviceable and extinguished.  

Mariners are reminded that Arch 4 remains Closed to Navigation and shall not be used.  

Further to this, as the isophase lights are not illuminating for reporting vessels as per General Direction 30. As such, reporting vessels shall report to London VTS as follows: 

• Lambeth Bridge Inbound 
• Victoria Rail Bridge Outbound 
• Any reporting vessel leaving a pier or mooring between Lambeth and Victoria Rail Bridge.  

London VTS will then promulgate this information over VHF Ch 14 for all vessels.    

 All vessels should navigate Vauxhall Bridge with caution and awareness of reporting vessels in the vicinity. Further details will be broadcast by London VTS on VHF Channel 14
