Lambeth Reach - Westminster Exclusion Zone

This Notice supersedes and replaces M24-25, which is hereby cancelled.

Mariners are advised that in preparation for upcoming works the nine Special Marks that denote the Houses of Parliament Exclusion Zone have been removed temporarily.   

Mariners are reminded the Houses of Parliament Exclusion Zone remains in force. 

No person or vessel, shall, except in an emergency, or with written permission of the Harbourmaster, enter into an area within 70 metres of the northern bank of the River Thames between Westminster Bridge and 200 metres below Lambeth Bridge, as shown on below.  

This restriction shall not apply to licensed passenger vessels approaching or departing from Westminster Pier. However, these vessels shall avoid entering into the area described as far as safe navigation permits and at no time may they approach closer than 15 metres to the northern riverbank.
