Mariners are advised that on or about Monday 18th August 2025 contractors will be commence scaffolding and concrete repair works at Adelaide Wharf, Upper Pool. These works are expected to take place over 18 weeks.
These works will involve the mooring of a spud leg pontoon alongside the wharf, erection of scaffolding that protrudes up to 1.5m over the river, concrete repair works under the wharf, and associated safety vessel movements.
Requirements to proceed with caution or at slow speed will be made in accordance with the procedure set out in the Port of London Authority’s Port Information Guide, under ‘Speed Reductions.’
Vessels are requested to be mindful of the nature of the works, to be aware of vessels proceeding to and from the works and of their wash when passing the works.
Further information will be broadcast by London VTS on VHF Channel 14.
