Gravesend Reach - Northfleet Hope - Dredging Operations

On or around 8th September, dredging operations will be undertaken at Tilbury Lock Entrance and CMAT. Works are expected to take approximately 2-3 weeks. 

Vessels involved in operations will include “AQUADELTA” and “BORR”, with vessels undertaking Water Injection Dredging on the ebb tide only.

Requirements to proceed with caution or at slow speed will be made in accordance with the procedure set out in the Port of London Authority’s Port Information Guide, under ‘Speed Reductions’.

The vessel is required to display lights and signals as per the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea and maintain a listening watch on VHF channel 68.
