Following any incident, event, new trade or change in circumstances the district Harbor Master will consider the need to establish a Navigational Risk Assessment Working Groups in support of the PLA's compliance with the Port Marine Safety Code.

Listed below is a record of the date and links to NRAWGs convened since January 2013.  Prior to this date NRAWGs were known as Navigation Advisory Panels.

Navigational Advisory Panels

Listed below is a record of NAPs convened between January 2002 and January 2013.

Note:

* NAP 39 was withdrawn following agreement between the Marine Pilotage Manager and Harbour Master Lower. The NAP was held but was "parked" due to insufficient data being available at the time to enable a decision to be reached. Following the closure of the Coryton Refinery, this matter has been taken forward through the Pilotage Operational Advisory Panel and the Havens Risk Assessment Working Group.

* NAP 41 has been withdrawn following discussion at NMT on 25 July 2012 when it was agreed that existing procedures for determining PEC requirements for one-off operations or events (e.g. Sail Greenwich and London Gateway dredging operations) are deemed accepxable and appropriate. The NAP had been delayed, but has since been overtaken by events.
