The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) is the largest conservation charity in the UK. Their aim is 'to create bigger, better, more joined-up space to save our wildlife, and our shared home'. Further information on the RSPB can be found on their website at www.rspb.org.uk.
The RSPB have a number of reserves adjacent to or near to the Thames.
The PLA and the RSPB signed a partnership agreement in 2008 to provide a framework to develop areas of co-operation for mutual benefit. Further information about the partnership can be found here.
